   1-SILICON CARBIDE CRUCIBLES    

  • Very good thermal conductivity and high oxidation resistance

  • Particularly suitable for prosesses where the temperature is changing frequently.
  • Very high mechanical strength, making them especially suitable for melting heavy metal alloys.
  • Resistant to chemical attack by fluxes.
  • Suitable for electric resistance heated and fuel fired furnaces for melting and holding with a melting temperature between 700°C and 1400°C
  • Variants available for the higher temperature range

      2--ISOSTATICALLY PRESSED CLAY GRAPHITE CRUCIBLES

  • High density and homogenous structure which gives very good chemical resistance against fluxes and excellent thermal conductivity.

  • Good thermal shock resistance, outstanding oxidation resistance.
  • Suitable for electric resistance and gas fired furnaces for melting and holding with a melting temperature between 400°C and 1300°C.
  • Variants available for zinc distillation or induction furnaces.
